More bridges to "Paradise" - Visions of "Paradise".

In accordance with "The overwhelming consensus of opinion", this page, no doubt,
should be titled "Delusions of Grandeur " or "Pie in the Sky" or something along those lines. Clearly, after spending the best part of one's entire life in the futile  (up to this point in time)
pursuit of the financing to enable the completion of a single boat. it would seem totally ridiculous to expect to create an entire fleet in the remaining few weeks, months or years of one's life.

In response to this, the length of the Authors remaining life has little bearing on the accomplishment of these plans as, clearly, there is no chance of the Author succeeding in the
pursuit of these  plans by means of his own single handed efforts. This certainly suggests that the notion that a single individual can accomplish anything which he or she puts his mind to, may be a bunch of "feel good hooey".

On the other hand, however, it is clearly true that a sufficient number of individuals, acting in sufficiently close concert, can  accomplish virtually anything they collectively set their minds to. The only questions is - what comprises  "a sufficient number" and "sufficiently close concert"? Clearly, neither the Catholic  Church nor the Nazi Party nor Al Quaeda have, as yet, attained these requirements - nor achieved their goals. One reason, for this failing, might be that their goals, while clearly very popular, are not naturally attractive to many segments of the world population.

Obviously, Heretics, non Aryans and Infidels, respectively, would not naturally be attracted to the above mentioned organizations -  nor tend to share their respective goals. Yet, as mentioned in The Blanqilla Project, all these organization profess to have the same goal - namely taking their associates or followers to Paradise. "A Trip to Paradise" is clearly, then, very attractive to, otherwise very diverse, individuals. However, in all of the above cases, the ticket price (in terms of body count alone) may appear to be a little on the high side.

Our ticket prices, on the other hand, are far more reasonable and, while we make no guarantees in regard to our "Paradise" being the genuine article, we do guarantee a close facsimile. The only question then is whether we can attract sufficient numbers of individuals to our organization and whether or not they can be persuaded to act, in sufficiently close concert, to achieve the goals of this organization.

Clearly, for sufficient numbers to act in sufficiently close concert to achieve these goals, they need to share a relatively similar vision of these goals - or "Vision of Paradise" if you will. The
question then arises - what "Vision of Paradise" might diverse individuals find easy to share -
that would be inclusive rather than exclusive?

Clearly, as to location, the classical "Tropical Island Paradise" appears to be the most popular contender. But whom does one share this Paradise with? -  and what does one do in Paradise, anyway? As to the former question, no doubt, many would opt for the standard 72 virgins - which, of course, also provides an answer to the latter question. Rather than get into a battle over details, however, it would,  perhaps, be more useful to come up with a more general description - which more people can agree on.

The Author offers the following (admittedly, far more mundane) "Vision" - for consideration:

> Pursuing interesting, diverse and  pleasant activities - with interesting, diverse and pleasant persons - in interesting, diverse and pleasant places.

Our "product" is, quite simply "That which enables the above to the fullest possible extent".

The above should be sufficient to describe our product and it is a broad enough description to attract a wide variety of individuals. It may be helpful, however,  to give a few examples of what it is is not:

> It is not the structured organized pursuit of any one particular activity - with it's own rules,
hierarchy, language and status system.

> It is not aimed at providing the comfort of being part of the "in group" associated with any one particular activity.

> It is not aimed at satisfying insatiable appetites nor egos.

Naturally there will need to be rules, even in Paradise , to ensure the fullest enjoyment by all.  The author would like to suggest the following:

Rule 1. Everyone shall be free to do as they choose.

Rule 2. There shall be no rules other than rule 1.

Note. The above rules are not as simple as they appear and , like a Zen koan, may require                      further contemplation.

The two primary questions concerning any product would seem to be - how marketable is the product? and how much customer satisfaction will it provide? In several of the above paragraphs, we compared our product with those of a few organizations and our product would seem to be competitive. However, we should have a look at how it might stack up against more commerce oriented organizations.

Naturally, the Author has a very clear and detailed picture of our product in his mind. Let us assume that, at this point in time, he was offered the choice between an, all expenses paid, top class, 1 week vacation in Disney Land or Las Vegas or on a Mega Cruise Ship or on a Luxury Mega Yacht - in Cannes for the film festival - or, at a price of say $5,000.00, a 1 week
Magic Carpet Catamaran Cruise . He would not hesitate for a moment - before choosing the latter. Bear in mind also, that $5,000.00 currently represents the better part of the Authors entire cash reserves.

No doubt, "The overwhelming consensus of opinion" would favor one of the other options.
However, if others shared the same mental picture as the author, it is very likely that there would be a significant shift towards the Author's choice. Clearly "The overwhelming consensus of opinion" would still favor one of the former choices. Nonetheless, a very small shift in our favor can easily provide us with enough numbers to keep our business operating at full capacity - even with a rapid rate of expansion.

The above also applies to another category of potential competitors - namely, the ever more popular Serious Adventure Expedition.  Be it centered around mountain climbing, kayaking, rafting, scuba diving, scientific exploration or whatever, such offerings often share the same pompous, self important, competitive (and ofttimes downright dangerous) tone and ambience. In the Authors judgement, this ambience is not the most suitable for enabling participants to reap the highest level of benefits from their brief stay in "Paradise".

In order to distinguish our product from these types of offerings, the Author gave serious consideration to sustituting the word "Adventure" throughout these sites with some other more suitable word. However he was unable to come up with a reasonable substitute. Somehow, "Play" Jobs on Caribbean "Play" Cruises just does not not seem to have the right ring to it - even though this description is, in fact, closer to the Author's "Vision of Paradise.

There is no question that marketing our product will, to some extent, be akin to  say trying to market ice cream in a country where no one has ever tasted ice cream. It may be slow going at first - but, once a few have tried it, a market for it will spread very quickly - simply because ice cream inevitabely generates a very high level of customer satisfaction.

To sum up - we are also able to provide a very good product which, while not, perhaps, as readily marketable as other more conventional products, will also provide a very high level of customer satisfaction. We have the  means of providing that product - at  very low capital and operating costs - namely, Magic Carpet Catamarans. We also have a strategy for securing further capital at no cost - namely, via the sale of Associate Shares.

With a sufficient number of Associates acting in sufficiently close concert, we will clearly be in a position  to expand our operations - virtually, as quickly as we choose, whenever we choose and wherever we choose. For many good reasons, other than getting very rich very quickly,  it might be a good idea (see The sky is falling) to undertake such expansion sooner rather than later.
