In specific connection to our cruises. Robby has spent a large portion of his life in what can best be described as "Pristine Tropical Paradises". Between the ages of 9 and 11 he lived with his parents and siblings at the edge of the coastal rain forest in a remote bay on the north coast of Trinidad.
This period had a profound effect on him (for better or for worse) and he has spent the better part of his life. searching for and interacting with similar environments. This search has led him to sojourns short and long - in other remote areas of the Trinidad north coast, the islands between Trinidad and Venezuela, the most remote corners of the island of Tobago, the Leeward and Windward islands of the Caribbean, the out Islands of the Bahamas, Costa Rica, Panama, and eventualy, very nearly full circle, to the remote Islands off the Spanish Main - just a few miles from his starting point.
Robby is hopefull that odd members of his extended and (for the most part) estranged family will occasionally be joining him on our cruises - but he is not holding his breath.

Angel's life has basically revolved around the sea. He graduated from "Instituto Universitario de Tecnologia del Mar" here in Margarita - with a degree in "Tecnico Naval". During this period in his life, Angel also worked as head reception clerk at a major Hotel in Margarita.
Since graduating, he has been engaged in commercial tuna fishing in Panama, shrimp trawling in Venezuela and operating his own 12 meter fishing vessel as far afield as Trinidad, Tobago, and Guyana. He holds a masters ticket for vessels up to 100 tons. He is an excellent diver, free diver and spearfisherman (as indicated by the photos on these sites) and naturally is very familiar with our cruising area.
Angel can, perhaps, best be described as the "John Wayne" type, very "calm, cool and collected (without the slightest hint of the infamous Latin temperament) good natured, and with a well deserved air of self confidence. He would definitely make the perfect John Wayne sheriff character - leading a posse to go after those "no good rustlers". These qualities should serve him in good stead, when it comes to taking responsibility for the safety and well being of our guests. Angel's delightful family will often be accompanying him on our cruises.
